Dr. Cody Cunningham is a seasoned and certified educator and educational leader with over a decade of experience working with students in both traditional and virtual settings. He has experience working with and teaching elementary, middle, and high school age students. He holds a Doctorate in Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as a Master’s degree from Teachers College, Columbia University. His academic work has focused on innovative approaches to civic and global education, with a deep commitment to supporting families in West Virginia.
A certified teacher in social studies (Grades 5–Adult) and a Personal Finance Education Specialist, Dr. Cunningham has taught subjects ranging from U.S. History and Civics to Economics, Geography, and AP World History. He has served in both public and private schools, including leadership roles in curriculum development, operations management, and instructional design.
Dr. Cunningham brings a modern, research-based approach to learning. He is also an experienced education consultant, having helped launch and lead the West Virginia Virtual Academy, one of the state’s first chartered online public schools.
Through Dr. Cunningham’s Educational Services LLC, he provides personalized academic support, tutoring, and curriculum guidance—tailored to meet the unique needs of each student and family. As a registered provider for West Virginia’s Hope Scholarship Program, his services are fully eligible for reimbursement under state guidelines.

Virtual Curriculum Planning Consultation
$75 an hour
Guidance on selecting and mapping out curriculum by subject and grade
Virtual Monthly Progress Check-In
$50 per 1 check-in done virtually.Â
Review of student work with informal feedback and suggestion.Â
Virtual Grading Support (per subject)
$125 per subject every 3 months.   Â
Professional grading of submitted student work with a written report.Â
Writing Feedback + Online ReviewÂ
Basically, this is tutoring for writing and improving writing for the student. Written feedback on writing submitted + 20-min virtual call to discuss feedback (optional)Â
$75 per document reviewed (max 20 pages per document review)Â
Virtual Guided Individualized Research Project (middle and high school aged)Â
Over the course of 6 meetings of 30 minutes each, the student will be guided through the research process. This includes: the selecting a topic of research and product to be created, navigating sources, developing a thesis, learning researching tips and tricks, rough draft review and feedback, and then participate in presenting final presentation. Typically, this will take anywhere from three to five weeks depending on student schedule and progress.Â
$300.00 per project cycle.Â

All services are provided “as is” and without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. Dr. Cunningham’s Educational Services does not guarantee specific academic outcomes, grade improvements, or success in meeting state or scholarship compliance requirements, as these depend on various individual factors beyond the provider’s control.
All purchases are non-refundable, including but not limited to tutoring sessions, portfolio evaluations, grading services, curriculum consultations, and monthly check-ins.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations, missed appointments, or dissatisfaction with subjective feedback, except where required by law.
Clients may reschedule a session with at least 24 hours’ notice by emailing drcodycunningham@gmail.com.
Failure to attend a scheduled session without prior notice will result in a forfeited session, with no refund or credit issued.
Dr. Cunningham’s Educational Services reserves the right to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, alternate arrangements will be made at no additional cost.
All services are delivered virtually via Google Meet or another secure online platform as scheduled. Clients are responsible for ensuring a reliable internet connection and access to a compatible device.

These services are designed to support homeschool and supplemental education.
Dr. Cunningham’s Educational Services does not issue official school credit, transcripts, IEP services, or guarantee state approval of parent-submitted portfolios or documentation.
a. Advance Payment Requirement
Payment is due in full before any service is rendered. This includes, but is not limited to, portfolio evaluations, curriculum consultations, progress check-ins, grading support, and tutoring sessions.
b. Service Scheduling
Services will not be scheduled or provided until payment has been received and confirmed. Unpaid appointments may be canceled. Paid appointments will receive a confirmation email to the address on file.
c. Accepted Payment Methods
We currently accept payment via PayPal and the Hope Scholarship Portal. Payment instructions will be provided upon booking and are available at www.cunninghameducation.com.
d. No Refunds
As stated above, all payments are non-refundable.
e. All sales are subject to the required sales tax as stipulated by the state of West Virginia and the County of Putnam.Â
